You’ll hear Barry talk about how he developed CICRCL-sponsored youth and family violence prevention programs in a number of U. S. communities and schools. These programs include the Kindness Campaign, a community-based violence prevention program implemented in 13 U. S. cities and the Kind and Safe Schools Initiative, a school-based violence prevention program now being used in over 700 schools nationwide.
He also discusses the unique strategies in his approach that emphasizes mobilize people to do the opposite of violence-- or acts of kindness.
